Always be curious.
Always be curious.
This is me, Montreal, 1990. Fresh-faced, just graduated from Concordia University with a BA in Journalism and Communication Studies, ready to see what the world has in store for me!
Although an unorthodox education for an analytical problem solver, it was an excellent foundation to build upon. How to build genuine rapport so people can tell you what the real problems are, how to spot a truth, a root cause (simple and complicated ones), and how to research are essential for anyone looking to understand what's really going on and find a way to fix it.
From there, I’ve blended all the skills, tools, techniques and knowledge gained from a long (35 years and counting...) and varied career into a methodology that uses that same curiosity, active listening, and respect for others' ideas and experience that I learned all that time ago. It's the quickest, most reliable way to reveal root issues, untangle complexity, and pinpoint lasting solutions to the problems you need to solve.
And I can do it in French too.
